HSL 1

Description

HSL-1 is based on advanced electrically pumped VCSEL (vertical cavity surface emitting laser) technology. It delivers the best in class performance including long coherence length, variable scan rate and low signal noise. The laser can be configured with a high scan rate of up to 400 kHz and its ultra-long coherence length eliminates the coherence revival. This is an attractive laser for SS-OCT. It is also eminently suitable for other applications such as sensing, spectroscopy and LiDAR. The HSL-1 is a robust and reliable laser in a compact package. It is manufactured using the standard semiconductor processes that can be scaled to provide a very low cost solution in high volumes.
